STUDIO-2 Radio Relay Equipment Set
The STUDIO-2 Radio Relay equipment set is intended for building single-hop 11GHz Radio Relay Lines providing transmission of video / audio or stereo audio signals. The STUDIO-2 set consists of a DVB-S modulator and an Upconverter. The DVB-S modulator converts video and audio signal in digital one, encrypts it using MPEG-2 coder, forms a transport stream and perform QPSK modulation at intermediate frequency ranged from 1 to 2 GHz. The Upconverter converts intermediate frequency signal of 1 to 2 GHz range in 11 GHz range signal and amplifies it to necessary level . The STUDIO-2 parameters in regards to transport stream and modulation scheme comply with digital satellite DVB-S receiver, so adapted digital satellite tuner can be used as a receiver. The STUDIO-2 Radio Relay equipment can be used in local primary network of terrestrial and cable TV studio and in mobile TV stations. All other equipment necessary for Radio Relay deployment – LNB, antennas, splitters, amplifiers and DVB-S tuners are standard satellite digital TV equipment and aren’t included in the delivery set.
